Locating a excellent hotel when you’re on a trip to in Rochester isn’t actually simple, mainly because there is so much choice! Perfect hotel for the what it is and where it is. Great value for the dollar. Went to Rochester with my family for Christmas, I had a two room suite next door to my sister with her family in a two room suites. The kids played in the pool, we ate a few light meals in our rooms using the kitchenette which was great.
I only have one complaint… the TV’s are programmed in a way that prevents real bedtime channel surfing. It was a mess. But then again I didn’t go to Rochester to watch TV. Thanks for a great visit Staybridge!

This First Class boutique hotel, in a stately sophisticated ediface, a former University club, has a very beautiful Old World ambiance & elegance, with all the modern, up-todate comforts! There is NO other hotel in ALL of upstate NY that encompasses such a luxurious, yet relaxed, experience! Believe me, they surely could give many needed lessons to the Ritzs, Mandarins, & Four Seasons of this world!!! While others advertise/boast how great they are, THIS place just Does the great things consistently for their guests!!! Much has already been said about the subtly & individually decorated, antique filled rooms. Their in-house restaurant, “TOURNEDOS” is a genuine “Tour de Force” as it is the finest steakhouse we have ever, ever dined in. Not Morton’s,Not Ruth’s Chris, NOT Smith & Wollensky’s even come close to the superb meals we’ve consistently enjoyed HERE!!! Their meat is really EXTRAORDINARY, you will be floored just by their incredible gratin potatoes,-even the seafood is SUBLIME! The staff here is courteous & charming, never pushy. This hotel seems not to be on everyones radar, but I’ll tell you something….THIS may very well be THE FINEST BOUTIQUE HOTEL in the ENTIRE U.S ! And THAT, My Friends, is NO hyperbole,by any means!!!!!!
